Grok Bot templates

This directory lists 30 publicly viewable Grok Bots. Check the use, permissions, and source before adding one on x.ai.

What a template contains

A public share page shows the Bot name, description, skills, and routines. Add to Grok Bot creates a separate copy that you can edit in your own account.

The copy does not include the creator’s sign-ins, computer access, or conversation history. You still configure any services and permissions it needs.

What to do after adding one

  1. 1Read the configuration

Review the description, skills, and routines on x.ai. Check permission scope when email, files, purchases, or device control are involved.

  2. 2Add your own copy

Use Add to Grok Bot, then adjust the description, inputs, and permissions for the actual use.

  3. 3Run a small test

Start with read-only or easily reversible work. Consider schedules and external actions only after the result checks out.

Make your own template

Run the configuration on one real, small task before sharing it. Anyone with the public link can read the shared configuration.

  1. 01

    State the use

Explain what it handles, what inputs it needs, and what counts as complete in one sentence.

  2. 02

    Limit external actions

Keep sending, publishing, buying, deleting, and device control behind human confirmation by default.

  3. 03

    Remove private material

Do not include keys, internal URLs, customer data, private memory, or non-public attachments.

  4. 04

    Leave test notes

Document the first test, required connections, known limits, and latest update date.
